sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install libfontconfig1 libxrender1

#download AMPPS
wget http://s4.softaculous.com/a/ampps/files/Ampps-3.8-x86_64.run

#In ur download directory run this command 
sudo chmod 0755 Ampps-3.8-x86_64.run

#install the package
sudo ./Ampps-3.8-x86_64.run

Run to navigate to the root of the new AMPPS directory
/usr/local/ampps  

#Congrats you can now start it 
sudo ./Ampps
